Cascais with Pool is a fully equipped darling of an apartment in one of the most well-located areas of Cascais. The holiday rental is within easy walking distance to Casa da Guia, where one can find wonderful restaurants and fashionable shops, and appreciate the breathtaking view of the ocean, of the Guincho Road. The Space The apartment has a social bathroom at the entrance and a bright naturally lit kitchen. The living room and dining room are all in one with a side view to the sea, in which the sofa bed can accommodate 2 children comfortably. It is a 2 bedroom, the master bedroom equipped with a generous King-size bed and the second bedroom with 2 single beds. The internet is set up in this bedroom, and the apartment offers high-speed internet throughout. All of this, in a lovely quiet residential area in Cascais known for its' beauty and cosmopolitan environment. It is one of our best-kept secrets. Guest Access Various buses serve the area including ones that run regularly to the Centre of Cascais, the Cascais train station, the shopping mall CascaisShopping, the World Heritage site of Sintra, and the fabulous Guincho Beach. Neighborhood The area around the apartment is very well served by public transport even though it is largely unnecessary as all local amenities are within easy walking distance. A short walk into Cascais Centre and to the Cascais train station from which you can travel directly into Lisbon along the beautiful coastline. Other things to note Our properties are self-catering, but we do make all beds up with linen and towels as well as provide basic amenities such as toilet rolls and soaps for a day or two. If you would like to have additional sets of linen or need to hire baby or beach equipment, we have an array of amenities we can offer. Please ask us for more information. Alternatively, your guest area will also have these items once you have booked. We are also able to arrange airport transfers and day trips with baby seats if needed. Check-in Times: We offer a meet and greet service until 20:00. Late check-in attracts a supplemental fee: From 20:00 to 23:00 - €30.00 After 23:00 - €60.00 Tourist Tax: Local municipalities have introduced a Tourist Tax, requiring hosts to collect from tourists staying in accommodations such as hotels, B&Bs, or vacation rentals. This tax contributes to the maintenance of local facilities and applies to tourists regardless of nationality. It is the host’s responsibility to collect the tax at the prevailing rate and pass it on to the respective municipalities/regions. Rates can vary from year to year and between different councils. Please check your reservation for details. * Parties and loud music are strictly prohibited at any of our properties and actions may be taken should there be any complaints from the neighbours relating to excessive noise. * Please note, the legal quiet times are between 23:00 to 07:00. Please limit noise (phone calls, TV, etc.) * Additional guests are not allowed without the express permission of the management agency. * Pets are not allowed at any of our properties regardless of size or behaviour as it is part of our agreement with our owners. Getting Around A short walk from the apartment is Casa da Guia with its several shops, boutiques, restaurants, and cafes. The Casa da Guia complex is situated within the grounds of an old and traditionally renovated Portuguese villa. Sit and enjoy breakfast in a traditionally Portuguese environment on top of the cliffs while listening to and watching the waves of the Atlantic Ocean crashing against the rocks.
