Salvador (better known as El Salvador) is a neighbourhood in the San Blas-Canillejas district in the Spanish city of Madrid. It is bordered to the north by Avenida de América, to the south by Calle de Alcalá (odd numbers), to the east by Calle Esparta (end), Calle María Tarín, Calle Eduardo Terán, the Quinta de Torre Arias park estate (the last private estate in the city, acquired in 2012 by the Madrid City Council) and Calle Rodríguez Ayuso (beginning), and to the west by Calle General Aranaz (even numbers). 23 It is an upper-middle class and highly urbanised neighbourhood.
