A few steps away from Piazza Marina and Giardino Basile there are Palazzo Abatellis, Palazzo Mirto and Palazzo Chiaramonte Steri, as well as the Puppet Theatre, traditional expression of the local art, and Via Maqueda, which together with Via Ruggero VII and Via della Libertà, is the main commercial area for more than a century now. With less than a 10-minutes walk guests can reach Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Vucciria market and the Cathedral. The central train station is just 1 km away and is the end of line of both trains and buses from/to the airport. From there, there are also buses going to wonderful places such as Mondello and Monreale!
