The Budello (5 minute's walk) is a charming pedestrian street, full of interesting shops and cafés for you to explore. The gardens of the Villa della Pergola are worth a visit, as is the Muretto di Alassio which is tiled with the signatures of many famous visitors, including Ernest Hemingway and Jean Cocteau. On the water, there are options for boat trips to Gallinara Island which includes snorkelling, diving and even whale watching. Back on dry land, guests can enjoy the tennis courts just a 15-minute walk from the apartment. For self-catering the weekly market (Saturday) is a treasure trove of local produce, which you can then enjoy back at home. Otherwise, there are many smaller shops and supermarkets within easy reach. The closest airport is Genoa airport, a 1 hour and 30-minute drive from the apartment.
