CIN: T037006C263468T2R Large and elegant apartment of about 150 sqm, consisting of 3 bedrooms, living room with open kitchen, 2 bathrooms and laundry room. The property is located on the 2nd floor (with lift) of a building in the center of Bologna, a 10-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore and adjacent to the bus stop leading to the fair and the train station. Guests have full use of the kitchen, sheets and towels are provided. Upon arrival our staff will be at the apartment to explain how the equipment works and to hand over the keys. During your stay, we will be available for any eventuality. The apartment was completely renovated in March 2022; original furniture from the 1970s has been refurbished and modernized to be placed side by side with more modern and colorful elements. For the floors, it was chosen to keep the original marbles, which blend well with the sage color of the furnishings and which allow to highlight the darker green of doors and windows. In this way, an extremely trendy style with a marked vintage taste has been created, capable not only of ensuring guests a pleasant stay in a refined setting, but also of spoiling them with all the most modern comforts. The heating is centralized throughout the building; air conditioning is present in the living room and in the 2 bedrooms, while in the study there is a fan. As soon as you enter the house, you can store your coats in the spacious entrance which, on one side opens towards the living area, on the other leads to the corridor where the bedrooms are located. In the living room you will see a beautiful wooden bookcase, next to which there is a single sofa bed (80 x 200 cm) and a coffee table made of glass. In front of the relaxation area, above the piano (not working), the Smart TV hangs, with which you can connect to internet. The open kitchen develops on the side of the living room. It is a modern kitchen, which hides a complete kit inside its white lacquered wall units and offers induction burners, dishwasher and oven. The furnishings are completed by a beautiful crystal table for 6 people and a small, but roomy, wooden sideboard. The sleeping area consists of 2 bedrooms, a study, 2 bathrooms and a small laundry room. Both bedrooms have a wardrobe (one of them is partially occupied) and a desk, complete with seat. In the master bedroom, where a bright red sofa and a beautiful antique trunk stand out on the oak parquet, there are 2 single beds (80 x 200 cm) that can be joined on request to form a double bed. In the guest bedroom, which has a balcony overlooking the internal courtyard, there is a comfortable double bed (160 x 200 cm). The third room is a study that houses a graceful fireplace and custom-made storage unit: the room is equipped with a single Empire-style bed (80 x 200 cm) and has a floor made of two-tone resin. The bathrooms are full of character, thanks to the antique mirrors that cover the walls and the bespoke wooden shelves where the washbasins are placed. In one bathroom there is a large crystal shower cabin, while in the second, guests have a bathtub (with hand shower) at their disposal. Being located in an area close to the university district, but away from the busiest streets, the property remains quiet, thanks also to the double glazing that has been mounted in the rooms overlooking the street. The useful laundry area is equipped with a washing machine and dedicated sink, as well as large wardrobes useful for storing your luggage. Equipment: - ADSL Internet with Wi-Fi - 32" Smart TV connected to internet - Dishwasher, toaster, electric kettle & oven - Washing machine, drying rack, iron and ironing board - Central heating and split air conditioning in the living room and in the 2 bedrooms Important: guests are required to pay a tourist tax not included in the price (€ 4 per adult, per night. It is applied only on the first 5 nights). Area: It is an area that gravitates around Piazza Maggiore (Church of San Petronio, one of Italy’s most important churches, Palazzo d'Accursio, Museo Morandi, the municipal art collections, Palazzo Re Enzo, and the Civic Museum), the imposing Piazza Nettuno with the beautiful fountain by Giambologna, the former Sala Borsa, home to a large multimedia library, and the Two Towers, dating back to the twelve century. In the vicinity, you can find a cluster of intertwined narrow streets featuring spice markets, pubs, trendy clubs, as well as typical and historical food stores. A convenient supermarket is located a few steps from the property and you only have to walk a few steps to reach some of Bologna’s most famous restaurants. Public transportation: The apartment is located in a highly strategic position thanks to its proximity to via dell'Indipendenza and via Irnerio, where buses pass and allow you to easily reach every point of the city, such as the Fair and the train station (also less than 15 minutes on foot). Parking: The apartment is located within the Restricted Traffic Area (ZTL). It is possible to find parking outside the ZTL, along via Irnerio within the blue lines, by paying the hourly ticket (red parking meters). Parking is free on public holidays; and from Monday to Saturday from 20:00 to 8:00. It is also possible to park in the adjacent APCOA Piazza 8 Agosto car park at a cost of € 24 per day, € 90 per week or € 200 per month. Pets: Pets are allowed (€ 20+VAT per night, limited to the first 5 nights).
