There are 4 bedrooms, an open kitchen with dining area and a lounge area with TV.  There is 1 shared bathroom with a laundry machine and dryer.  From the kitchen / livingroom you have access to the 2 large shared balconies and the building has a green backyard with tables and benches. 50 meters from the backyard, at the water front, there is an event room which can be booked for social events exclusively by the tenants in the building complex.

Sydhavnen is a neighbourhood just south of the city centre that mixes nature, an architectural boom and authentic harbour-side living. This former fishing area is experiencing an architectural boom and should be your go-to place for waterside experiences. Many buildings in Sydhavnen are directly on the water and the streets are set up around many different canals that are connected, giving you the feeling you are in the modern version of Venice. Renting a stand-up paddleboard or a canoe and sailing the canals is a popular activity in Sluseholmen. There is also a harbour bath including a sauna during the winter months. In the last years, Sydhavnen has become booming and new cafes and restaurants have popped up, making it practically unnecessary to leave the area.

Go for a swim in your back yard ! The apartment is located on the beautiful Teglholmen island in the area of Sydhavn, surrounded by green areas and water. The water is only 50 meters from the backyard. Here you can find a cafe with large outdoor terrace overlooking the water and a kajak and paddle board hotel. In summer, the nearby canals are perfect for a refreshing dive. From the apartment it's a 5-minute bike ride to Vesterbro and the popular meatpacking district and 10 minutes to the Central station.

The apartment is at 5 min walking distance from the Central and Vesterport station, and 5 min to the new metro line that goes all around the centre. The famous Lakes are 2 min away where you can take a stroll and look at the swans, the Danish national animal. There are plenty of cafés and restaurants nearby - both on Gammel Kongevej and Vesterbrogade. The city centre is only 10 min away and so is the Tivoli garden/amusement park. In 1577 it became forbidden to slaughter animals in the city center due to the fear of diseases spreading and due to the bad smells. The butchers therefore moved in 1671 outside of Vesteport, where they twice a week had a horse and cattle market. The market was meant to control that charges were paid for the animals that were slaughtered and brought into town. As a signal of the market opening, a drum was hit, which is the story behind the name of the street Trommesalen which in English is translated to Drumhall. Later the market was moved to the well known meat-packing district next to Kalveboderne.
