About your Apartment The Bairro Luz apartment is a third-floor (no lift) bright, stylish property in the famous Bairro Alto quarter, and has 2 double bedrooms to accommodate up to 4 guests. The modern, funky decor of this property uses light colours and combines splendidly with the natural light that comes streaming in through the windows in all rooms. The owner's good taste is shown through the accommodation's original and fashionable decor, bringing together different styles and historical periods. You enter directly into the living-room, which contains a mirrored wall on one side giving the living and dining areas a spacious feel, and setting the standard for the decor throughout. Here we can find a comfortable sofa and wicker armchair, dining table and chairs, flat screen TV and wireless Internet, and the inimitable decor, all bathed in plentiful natural light from the windows which give on to the street below. The striped wall opposite the mirrors and the restored chandelier provide original touches and a colourful style. There are two bedrooms in this property, each containing a comfortable double bed with quality mattress, bedside tables and reading lamps. Both are well lit with exterior windows, and charmingly decorated. The kitchen is clean, modern and fully-equipped with all the necessary appliances for a wonderful self-catering stay. It has a lively colour scheme, with a delicate china cabinet painted violet, lovely antique stools dressed in acid-treated glass, and a large blackboard to write down your favourite recipes. There is a door which opens out onto a small balcony with a potted plant. The bathroom is also bright and cheerful and includes new fittings and a full bathtub. It's in the frontier of Bairro Alto and Principe Real. You are at a 5min walk from the Viewpoint of São Pedro de Alcantara where the Funicular da Glória stops. This funicular is a tram that takes you to and from the Avenida da Liberdade one of the most expensive streets in Lisbon. Here you have several local groceries and iconic shops and Fado restaurants that will make your stay more pleasant. At night you are at a 15min walk from Rua da Rosa one of the busiest streets of Bairro Alto full of bars and parties. So please keep the noise down and respect the neighbours in the building. - Please remember to close all windows and doors when leaving. - Careful attention to the keys is extremely important.
