About your Apartment This self-catered apartment with 138sqm is in one of the buildings were Fernando Pessoa, one of the most significant literary figures of the 20th century lived during his childhood. He was not only a poet, he was an avid writer and he created over 70 individual writers and called them heteronyms. These imaginary people were his way of expressing his more extreme ideas or critics to the society. The apartment has 3bedrooms, 1 bathroom, one dining room and one living room. The decoration theme is navigation has Alvaro de Campos, one of his heteronyms, studied naval engineering. You can find several navigation objects among other engineering items throughout the apartment. Two of the bedrooms have one double bed each and the third has two single beds. The living room has a comfortable sofa bed for two extra guests and cable tv with international channels. The dining room has a table big enough for eight people to sit. The kitchen is fully equipped and has everything you need to prepare your favourite meals. The apartment has heaters to warm up your stays and wi-fi connection throughout. The Neighbourhood This house is located in the heart of Principe Real and right next to Bairro Alto. It’s the perfect place to discover Lisboa on foot because you are close to everything. You have a supermarket next door as well the Jardim das Flores where you can enjoy a nice coffee or snack. There are several restaurants, cafés within walking distance. At a nice walk of 20minutes, you will find yourself in Cais do Sodré from where you can take the train in direction to Cascais where you can either choose a beach along the ride or just take off in Belém and visit several of the Portuguese Discoveries monuments and taste the famous “Pasteis de Belem”. If you prefer to go to Sintra you can take the train in Rossio Station that is at a 15minute walk from the apartment. In case you just want to visit Lisbon you have the famous tram 28 stop at 550m from the apartment, you can take a ride and see most of the typical neighbourhoods and alleys of Lisbon. You are also very close to the garden of Principe Real (450m) where you have a playground for the children to play, a big tree with a nice shade and benches for you to relax and read a book and some coffee shops with terrace. From here you are 5minutes away from the busy and festive Bairro Alto where the small streets fill up with people at night and bars open from door to door. The closest supermarket (MiniPreço) is just around the corner of the apartment. Simple and fast: Please follow the instructions you will receive from us. It will take approximately 15-30min (depending on traffic of course). Price: ( /-) 15€. A late check-in fee of 30€ will be charged in cash on the spot for arrivals between 10 pm and midnight, 40€ for check-ins between midnight and 2am and 50€ after 2am We are proud to offer our guests a wide selection of top-quality properties across Europe. - Strictly no smoking, no parties, no pets. - Dispose of rubbish appropriately. - Keep the property clean and tidy. - Whilst washing up and stripping the beds at check-out would be appreciated, it is by no means expected. - Quiet hours are between 10 PM and 9 AM. So please keep the noise down and respect the neighbours in the building. - Please remember to close all windows and doors when leaving. - To ensure the safety of our current and future guests, we ask all guests to complete our online check-in form and to provide a valid form of identification. - Careful attention to the keys is extremely important. Guests are responsible for any additional costs resulting from misplaced keys or locksmith call-outs. - In light of the current situation, we kindly ask our guests to consume electricity and gas mindfully. BEFORE CHECK-IN Cancellation made 60 or more days before the Check-in date: 100% reimbursement of the first month paid. Cancellation made between the 59th and 30th day before the Check-in date: 50% reimbursement of the first month paid. Cancellation made less than 30 days before the Check-in date: There is no refund. AFTER CHECK-IN If you need to check out before the agreed date, it is required 2 months of notice period in order to receive the security deposit back. If notice is given less than 2 months before the new check-out date, the security deposit will be retained.
