For your groceries we recommend you to visit the local markets and stores, that you can find through the entire neighborhood. The store owners will gladly help you to improve your Spanish and Catalan, just ask them. There is no elevator in the building. Location: It is located on Sant Pere Quarter, one of the oldest parts of town, right between Sant Pere's Church and Palau de la Música Catalana. Very close to two University's Faculties: Universitat Pompeu Fabra and Universitat de Barcelona. It is located in the great area of El Born, La Rivera and Santa Caterina. District: Born Nearest grocery store: 30 meters away Nearest pharmacy: 80 meters away Transportation: We highly recommend to move around walking and using public transportation, as downtown isn't the best place to park a car. If you rent a scooter, though, you will manage just perfect! However, if you come with your private vehicle, there is a paid public parking lot at Santa Caterina Market, which is about 5 minutes walking from the flat. Nearest Metro station: Urquinaona, 550 meters away Barcelona airport: Barcelona's airport is located 16 kilometers away, about 30 minutes from the flat. Use the AeroBus for best convenience. Nearest Beach: Barcelona's Beach is located at 2 kilometers from the building Nearest Ferry: Barcelona's Port at 3.0 Kilometers. Important Comments: - Utility fees are paid separately from the Rental Price. They have a cost of 6€ per day for up to 2 people. It does not apply to reservations made through Airbnb. - Check-in is possible after 15h. - There is a late check-in fee of €30 for check-ins between 8pm and 11.59pm, and €50 for later check-ins. This fee must be paid directly to the check-in agent in cash. - Sheets and towels (shower) are provided for the amount of guests indicated in the reservation. Barrio: Born Tienda de comestibles más cercana: a 30 metros. Farmacia más cercana: a 80 metros. Transporte: Recomendamos encarecidamente moverse a pie y utilizando el transporte público, ya que el centro no es el mejor lugar para aparcar un coche. Sin embargo, si alquilas un scooter, ¡te las arreglarás perfectamente! No obstante, si vienes con tu vehículo privado, hay un aparcamiento público de pago en el Mercado de Santa Caterina, a unos 5 minutos a pie del apartamento. Estación de metro más cercana: Urquinaona, a 550 metros. Aeropuerto de Barcelona: El aeropuerto de Barcelona está situado a 16 kilómetros, a unos 30 minutos del apartamento. Utiliza el Aerobus para mayor comodidad. Playa más cercana: La playa de Barcelona está situada a 2 kilómetros del edificio. Ferry más cercano: El puerto de Barcelona a 3 kilómetros. Comentarios importantes: - Los gastos de los suministros se pagan aparte del precio del alquiler. Tienen un coste de 6€ al día para hasta 2 personas.
