The apartment opens onto a welcoming entrance that leads into the spacious living room. Two spectacular columns separate the dining room from the relaxation area, giving a touch of opulence to the relaxed atmosphere that reigns in the apartment, and framing the wonderful view, which through two windows opens onto one of the most famous streets of Bologna, to reach a glimpse of the Asinelli tower. The dining room is characterized by the warm nuances of the wood paneling, which contrasts wonderfully with an elegant 6-person oval glass table. From the kitchen, a staircase leads to a service room, equipped as a laundry room and located on the lower floor. The layout of the apartment is comfortable and rational, both large bedrooms are accessible from the living room and are equipped with luxurious private bathrooms, covered in micro-cement. The luxurious master bedroom is furnished with a king size bed (200 x 200 cm), is equipped with a large walk-in closet, a custom-made bookcase, an armchair and a practical desk, strategically overlooking the picturesque Bolognese houses that follow one another in via Santo Stefano. There is a second bedroom, very bright thanks to the double view, equipped with a double bed (160 x 200 cm) and a two-door wardrobe. The apartment has two en-suite bathrooms with windows, one of which features a spectacular bathtub, while both boast large custom-made showers. A walk through the center will lead you to discover points of great historical and artistic interest, such as the prestigious Academy of Fine Arts, the famous Teatro dell'Opera Comunale, the characteristic Jewish ghetto, the Garisenda and Asinelli towers (a 5-minute walk). Via dell'Indipendenza, the most famous shopping street in Bologna, is about 400 m away. The quadrilateral of alleys that rises next to Piazza Maggiore, and which has its center in Via Pescherie Vecchie, with all its food and wine shops, is also a very short distance away. Public transportation: Being the center of Bologna, the area is well served by public transportation. Along Via Santo Stefano you can take buses to reach the fair, hospitals and the train station. Parking: The apartment is located within the limited traffic zone (ZTL) and an access-ticket is requested. Paid parking is available nearby: there is one in Via San Petronio Vecchio 40/a and a second in Vicolo San Damiano 3/3. In these garages you can get access to the ZTL. It is possible to obtain temporary residence and a pass to drive around the historic center only for stays longer than 3 months. For shorter stays, access is guaranteed only for 3 days per month (non-consecutive, or for 4 consecutive days) upon payment of a specific permit. Pets: Pets are not allowed.
