The apartment is accessed via a short flight of steps at the side of the building. There is an entrance hall and most of the rooms open off this. The airy, open-plan living space has an uninterrupted sea view. There is a nautical theme to the décor with a contemporary blue sofa and armchair, a flat-screen TV and a dining table for 6 people. Towards the rear of the room is the sleek fitted kitchen with a breakfast bar island for quick snacks. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and Moka coffee maker. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The stylish master bedroom is furnished with a double bed and extensive wardrobe. Bedroom 2: This fun bedroom has a bunk bed, a pull-down workspace, wardrobes and a door leading out to a private balcony. It is still a thriving fishing port, where fishermen mend their nets on the harbourfront, and has been voted one of Italy’s prettiest towns on several occasions. Its traffic-free streets and squares make an ideal spot for an evening stroll. The town’s beach is clean with fine sand and a walk along the seafront is a must. There are many other lovely beaches within easy reach. The larger town of Alassio is just a 10-minute drive. Or you can take the train along the coast. Laigueglia railway station is just a 3-minute walk from the apartment. Alassio’s weekly market (Saturday mornings) is the best place to pick up local produce, which you can then enjoy back home. Otherwise, there are many smaller shops and supermarkets within easy reach in Laigueglia. The closest airport is Genoa Airport, a 1 hour and 20-minute drive from the apartment.
