A short walk from the apartment you have the harbour and a bridge that takes you over to the old and charming neighborhood of Islands Brygge and Christianshavn. In the other direction, the apartment is a short walk to the City Hall (where the metro line runs) and the pedestrian shopping street of Copenhagen starts.

Vandkunsten Architects designed this elegant top floor apartment. Wake up with the sun rising over the ocean, and finish the day with a drink and evening sun on the enormous terrace with breath-taking views of the Copenhagen harbor. You will never be bored on Refshaleøen. Hang out in trendy art galleries, the famous food market "Reffen" and up and coming microbreweries. Within minutes from your home, you can year-round be skiing, rock climbing, kayaking, and much more. All this just a 10 min bike ride from Kongens Nytorv, and within walking distance to the Opera, historic Christianshavn, Bus 9A, which brings you straight to Central Station, stops in front of the door and runs all night long. From the livingroom you have access to the shared balcony and the building has a green backyard with tables and benches. In connection with the backyard, right at the water front, there is an event room which can be booked for social events exclusively by tenants.

Sydhavnen is a neighbourhood just south of the city centre that mixes nature, an architectural boom and authentic harbour-side living. This former fishing area is experiencing an architectural boom and should be your go-to place for waterside experiences. Many buildings in Sydhavnen are directly on the water and the streets are set up around many different canals that are connected, giving you the feeling you are in the modern version of Venice. Renting a stand-up paddleboard or a canoe and sailing the canals is a popular activity in Sluseholmen. There is also a harbour bath including a sauna during the winter months. In the last years, Sydhavnen has become booming and new cafes and restaurants have popped up, making it practically unnecessary to leave the area.

Go for a swim in your back yard ! The apartment is located on the beautiful Teglholmen island in the area of Sydhavn, surrounded by green areas and water. The water is only 50 meters from the apartment. Here you can find a cafe with a large outdoor terrace overlooking the water, and a kajak and paddle board hotel. In summer, the nearby canals are perfect for a refreshing dive. From the apartment it's a 5-minute bike ride to Vesterbro and the popular meatpacking district and 10 minutes to the Central station.
