Neu-Hohenschönhausen is a district of Berlin, belonging to the district of Lichtenberg and encompassing the development area Hohenschönhausen-Nord, giving its name to the former district of Hohenschönhausen. It is located in the north-east of Berlin, on the Barnim Plateau and was part of East Berlin, later developing over the years as an autonomous district.
