Imperial is the name of one of the administrative districts of the Arganzuela district in Madrid (Spain). It has an irregular shape and is located on the north-western border of the district, bounded by the Segovia Bridge and Segovia Street to the north, the Segovia ring road and Toledo Street to the east and the Manzanares River to the west and south. It is surrounded by the neighbourhoods of Palacio (Centro district) to the north; Puerta del Ángel and Los Cármenes (Latina district) to the west; San Isidro (Carabanchel) to the south and Las Acacias (belonging to the same neighbourhood as Arganzuela) to the east. In the current city division system, the Arganzuela district has the code 02 and the Imperial district 21. Its total area in hectares is 96.77 hectares.
