Nuestro apartamento es ideal para parejas o viajeros solitarios. Dispone de una magnífica terraza privada, soleada y silenciosa, que flota sobre los tejados del casco histórico de Madrid, con impresionantes vistas hasta el horizonte.
Está situado en el cosmopolita barrio de Lavapiés, en una calle sin tráfico, comercios, restaurantes o bares, un oasis de tranquilidad en el bullicioso barrio. 
Su céntrica ubicación lo hace perfecto para recorrer Madrid paseando tranquilamente, sin necesidad de transporte público.

El espacio
Nuestro acogedor apartamento está situado en la última planta de un edificio tradicional de finales del siglo XIX, completamente reformado, que dispone de ascensor. Como en el edificio no existe ningún apartamento turístico, esto te proporcionará la experiencia de sentirte más como un vecino del barrio, pero también implica que tendrás que cuidar en extremo a los vecinos, moderando el ruido que generes y acomodándote a las horas de silencio de la comunidad de vecinos. El propietario del apartamento es uno de tus vecinos, lo que facilita que pueda ayudarte en todo aquello que necesites.

El apartamento tiene dos alturas. La planta de acceso es un espacio abierto que sirve como estar, comedor y cocina, con generosa amplitud en la zona de sofá, en la mesa para comer o trabajar y en el área de cocina. La iluminación está muy cuidada, disponiendo de diferentes posibilidades de ambientes lumínicos. La cocina está totalmente equipada con todos los utensilios para cocinar como en casa: cocina de inducción, microondas, horno, cafetera, batidora, tostadora, vajilla, lavadora… El baño también se encuentra en esta planta. Dispone de una cómoda ducha, con toallas, secador de pelo y productos de aseo personal.

La planta alta es el espacio estrella del apartamento. Aquí se sitúa la terraza, orientada al este y al sur, y el dormitorio, con cama matrimonial. La terraza está en la zona interior de la manzana, a salvo de los ruidos de la calle, por lo que es sorprendentemente silenciosa. Además, al ser más alta que todas las construcciones de alrededor, tiene vistas hasta el horizonte, donde acaba la urbe, y total privacidad.
En la mesa de la esquina, por donde trepa una glicinia, podrás desayunar a la salida del sol, flotando sobre los tejados de alrededor, o cenar tranquilo después de recorrer la ciudad. También podrás tomar el sol en la tumbona. 
El dormitorio, ampliamente acristalado sobre la terraza, dispone de estores de oscurecimiento. Sin ellos, por la mañana, el sol inunda el espacio de la cama, invitando a disfrutar del día.

El apartamento dispone, en ambas plantas, de aire acondicionado, calefacción por radiadores y Wi-Fi de alta velocidad.
Cada detalle está cuidado para que te sientas como en casa.
La escalera interior es confortable, siempre y cuando dispongas de una condición física normal.

El barrio
El barrio de Lavapiés está ubicado en pleno centro de Madrid. Es el barrio más activo culturalmente de la ciudad, como demuestran las decenas de galerías de arte y teatros, o las innumerables muestras de arte urbano en plena calle.
Desde hace cientos de años, Lavapiés ha sido un lugar en el que siempre han convivido en paz gentes de diferentes credos y procedencias, y hoy es el barrio con más diversidad cultural de Madrid. Su multiplicidad de colores, sabores y olores es uno de sus mayores atractivos, y es posible disfrutar de la gastronomía más variada en decenas de bares, restaurantes y terrazas abiertos a cualquier hora del día.
En el año 2018, la revista Time Out eligió a Lavapiés como el barrio más cool del mundo, en el top de los barrios “donde hay que estar”, por encima de cualquier otro de las mejores ciudades del mundo.

¿Cómo moverse por la zona?
Se puede ir caminando, sin utilizar el transporte público, a los principales lugares turísticos de la ciudad: Museo del Prado (15 min), Centro de Arte Reina Sofía (7 min), Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza (14 min), CaixaForum (12 min), Puerta del Sol (14 min), Plaza Mayor (14 min), Gran Vía (19 min), Palacio Real (22 min). 
Los otros barrios de la ciudad con mayor interés cultural o de ocio, también se encuentran a un paseo: Latina (13 min), Letras (7 min), Cortes (7 min), Austrias (15 min), Malasaña (19 min), Chueca (19 min).
No obstante, el apartamento tiene excelentes comunicaciones: a 200 m está el Metro Lavapiés (L3), a 400 m el Metro Antón Martín (L1) y a 600 m el Metro Embajadores (L5, Cercanías C-5). A 15 min andando se encuentra la estación de trenes de Atocha, la más importante de la ciudad.
Junto al apartamento (150 metros) hay un gran supermercado Carrefour abierto las 24 horas, con todo lo que puedas necesitar.

El armario a medida lo van a instalar en 15 días, lo que se ve en las fotos es provisional. El baño se comparte con otra persona más y la cocina se comparte con dos personas más. El piso tiene 3 habitaciones, una con baño en suite que ya está alquilada.
Los siguientes servicios están disponibles en casa: WiFi, agua caliente, calefacción central, electricidad, aire acondicionado y cerradura en la habitación. Se requiere una estancia mínima de 1 mes/es y máxima de 8 meses con posible revisión para ampliar el contrato si las partes lo quieren así.
