The building is over a century old but was carefully renovated in 2012 to include all modern amenities while preserving its original character. Spread across three floors, the house strikes the perfect balance between privacy and shared moments. Ground Floor: - Suite with two single beds and a private bathroom with a shower. First Floor: - Cozy living room with a sofa bed, TV, and dining table for four. - Small but fully equipped kitchen with a stove, oven, microwave, and coffee machine (coffee not included). Guest bathroom. - Second Floor: Bright bedroom with a double bed and a private bathroom with a shower. The décor is simple yet elegant, with thoughtful details that add character and charm, making you feel at home from the very first moment. Important Information - Lively Neighborhood: Alfama is known for its nightlife and live music, so some outside noise is to be expected. - Challenging Car Access: The streets of Alfama are narrow and winding. While driving is possible in some areas, it requires skill. Certain streets are restricted to taxis, while others are pedestrian-only, making walking the best way to explore. - No Elevator, but Plenty of Character: The house is spread over three floors, connected by narrow and steep stairs. This adds to its charm but may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. Additional Information: → Check-in time is from 3pm to 10pm and check-out must be done until 11am. → Late Check-In/Check-Out: Extra fee of €25. → "Self-catered" property: Basic items are provided as a courtesy upon arrival, with no replacements. → Bed linen and towels are provided based on the confirmed guest count. → Extra cleaning or linen changes require 24h notice and an additional fee. → Crib and baby chair are available upon request and subject to an extra fee. → Guests are responsible for the keys. Avoid leaving them in the lock or mailbox. Costs for damage or technical assistance to open doors will be charged to the guest and penalty for key loss. → The property has noise monitoring sensors that measure decibel levels only, ensuring privacy with no cameras or sound recording, for everyone’s comfort. → Monthly consumptions are included up to 150€. → Please keep in mind that Portuguese authorities require full passport details for all guests. (EN) > The security deposit must be paid no later than 7 days before check-in. The security deposit is returned within 14 days of the check-out date. There will be a contract between the parties, to be submitted to the tax office, for properties exclusively intended for mid-term stays. The same does not apply to properties with an AL registration. Expenses are included up to a maximum total of 150€. All excess amounts will be charged separately. There is an extra charge for check-ins after 22:00: 25€. Extra towels and bed linen are left in the apartments for guests to wash and manage themselves. If guests require cleaning services during their stay, this must be requested at least 72 hours in advance and will cost the same amount as the check-out cleaning. > CANCELLATION BEFORE CHECK-IN Cancellation made 90 or more days before the Check-in date: 100% reimbursement of the first month paid. Cancellation made between the 89th and 60th day before the Check-in date: 50% reimbursement of the first month paid. Cancellation made less than 60 days before the Check-in date: There is no refund. > CANCELLATION AFTER CHECK-IN If you check out before the agreed date, no refund will be processed. – (PT) > O depósito de segurança deve ser pago até 7 dias antes do check-in.
