The apartment is a 124 square meters (1345 sq. ft) duplex apartment in a renovated 19th-century residential building. It is situated in the yard and is totally quiet with no traffic noise.
On the ground-floor, there is the entrance floor, a bathroom with shower and toilet, the kitchen, the dining room and the living room, as well as a storage room. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a dishwasher, an oven and cutlery for 12 persons. The dining room is equipped with a dinner table and chairs for 8 persons.
On the first floor there is a bathroom with a bathtub and a toilet as well as a washing machine, a storage room, and three bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed 180 cm x 200 cm, a second bedroom with two single beds 90 cm x 200 cm and a third one with a double bed 140 cm x 200 cm. In addition, each bedroom is equipped with a wardrobe and a writing desk.

The floor is oak parquet in all rooms, storage and the upper floor and marble in the entrance floor and the bathrooms.
The apartment is equipped with a TV set, a DVD player and a Hi-fi system.
There is an internet flat rate with Wi-Fi in all rooms.
The apartment is decorated with 30 original paintings and drawings by Italian, Russian and German artists as well as three big and three small chandeliers. 

Location:
The apartment is located in Inselstrasse in Berlin-Mitte, the most central district of Berlin. The Humboldt Forum, the Nicolai quartier, the boulevard "Unter den Linden" and the famous "Museums' Island" are in 10 minutes walking distance. The area is calm, green and safe. Very close (200 m) is a park (Koellnischer Park) with a museum (Märkisches Museum) and the river Spree inviting to walks along the beautiful riverside through the centre of Berlin. 
There are numerous restaurants and cafés in the neighbourhood as well as two supermarkets. Two subway stations, a train station (with four S-Bahn lines) and three bus lines provide excellent connection to public transport. One bus goes directly to the Central station.

In the basement, there is a lockable bicycle room which you can use to securely park your bicycle. 
If you have a car, you can obtain a car park resident's permit cost 2024: €20.40 for 2 years valid

Restaurants, bars, and small cafés are right off your doorstep.
