Congosto is a station on line 1 of the Madrid Metro located under Calle de Congosto (from which it takes its name), between the intersections with Calle Peña Sorrapia and Calle Sierra de Mira, south of the historic centre of Villa de Vallecas, in the city of Madrid (Spain). In the past this area was known as Barrio Vilano, a name that is however falling into disuse and has been replaced in popular parlance by Congosto.
